Mira Costa and Redondo Union surf team alumni had their years of beach break competition put to the test Sunday morning at the Hermosa Beach pier in overhead barrels that few emerged from, unless your name was Dane Zaun. His two, 10-point barrels carried Costa to victory. Â Costa surf team alum Balzer lent his support to his team by urging them on from the pier, with his camera.
