As amazing as it may seem to those who remember the early days in their small Hermosa Beach shop, there are now six locations of Crème de la Crepe.
After conquering Manhattan, Hermosa, and Redondo, they’ve spread to Culver City, Long Beach, and Pasadena. The formula of traditional food expertly prepared has been a hit, and crepes are now as much a part of the South Bay scene as burgers, burritos, or pasta. The fillings can be delicate and simple as the cheese and vegetables or as robust as Moroccan lamb sausage, mushrooms, and Madeira sauce, and you can follow any of them with a sweet crepe with fruit, ice cream, Nutella, and other delights. The variety is vast, as is the pleasure of dining there.
