The center calls itself “the ultimate in shopping, dining and entertainment in beautiful Manhattan Beach” and this year, the South Bay agreed.
With stores ranging between Fry’s Electronics, Macy’s, Brookstone, Pottery Barn, William-Sonoma, Sephora, Apple, Gap, and Tommy Bahama, Diane’s Beachwear, Manhattan Village has a little something for everyone looking to maintain a fun and fashionable beach life. Other stores specialize in designer jewelry, handbags, shoes, and maternity and sportswear. Several doctors, dentists and our winner for Best Eyewear, Stein Optometric Center, are also located in the center. A range of eateries from on-the-go to kick-back-and-relax include LA Food Show, Tin Roof Bistro, Open Sesame Grill and Corner Bakery. On its website, Manhattan Village posts an economy-friendly menu of “most delicious and budget conscious” meals that are all available for $8.99 or less without having to leaving the center. Manhattan Village hosts a variety of seasonal events and special programs throughout the year. On certain days of the week, it holds a Kid’s Club with activities that include games, songs, instruments, arts, crafts, story-telling, and Adventureplex activities near Center Court. The community room is also available for meetings or seminars.
