To keep my family cool and hydrated throughout the hot months, I often make aqua fresca rather than artificial fruit punch. Nothing beats the power of a simple, nutritious and beautifully refreshing drink on a hot July day.

Hope you enjoy!

Blueberry Aqua Fresca

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. frozen blueberries (or any berries)
  • 7 cups of water
  • Agave to taste (about ¼ cup)
  • 1 cup of ice
Optional garnish: mint and edible flowers

Directions

1. Blend blueberries and water in a high-speed blender. Add agave to taste. When you are ready to serve, add some ice, mint leaves or even edible flower for garnish.
