Notice Inviting Bids for Furnishing and Installing
Downtown Digital Video Surveillance System

 

The City of Hermosa Beach is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors to furnish the City of Hermosa Beach with a Digital Video Surveillance System for the downtown.  The proposal shall include all labor, materials, equipment and accessories to complete the job.

 

Submission of Proposals

 

Proposals must be received in the Office of the City Clerk, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, on or before 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014.The proposal shall be contained in a sealed bid.  The City of Hermosa Beach reserves the right to extend the time frame as necessary.

 

Late proposals will not be accepted.  Postmark date will not constitute timely delivery.  Proposals received after the deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened.

 

The sealed bid envelope shall be identified with “HBPD Downtown Digital Video Surveillance System” and the name of the vendor. All prices and costs shall be sealed in the sealed bid envelope.The vendor’s proposal shall include an estimate of the time required to complete the project not to exceed 90 days. NOTICE INVITING BIDSCIP No. 12-153 HERMOSA BEACH FIRE

DEPARTMENT HYBRID BEACON SYSTEM INSTALLATION

Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, until 2:00 PM on Thursday, May15, 2014, for CIP No. 12-153 HERMOSA BEACH FIRE DEPARTMENT HYBRID BEACON SYSTEM INSTALLATION which consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, tools and equipment for the complete removal of the existing emergency vehicle flashing beacon system and installation of a new emergency-vehicle hybrid beacon system; including a new controller assembly, signing, and striping as per the plans and specifications.

All bids must be submitted in writing, on standard forms available in the Public Works Department, at the above address.  All bids must be sealed and must be plainly marked in the lower left-hand corner “CIP No. 12-153 HERMOSA BEACH FIRE DEPARTMENT HYBRID BEACON SYSTEM INSTALLATION.”

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective bids received.  The award, if made, will be granted to the lowest responsible bidder.

Plans and Specifications may be picked up at the Office of the Director of Public Works/City Engineer beginning Monday, April28, 2014, by paying a non-refundable fee of $25.00 per set. Plans and specifications can be mailed directly to the contractor if a Federal Express or preferred carrier account number is provided.  City Hall is open M-Thu. 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
