The City of Hermosa Beach is accepting applications to fill an unscheduled vacancy on its PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMISSION.
Applicants must be bona fide Hermosa Beach residents. The vacancy to be filled is an unexpired term ending June 30, 2017.
The filing deadline for applications is 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015; postmarks not accepted.

NOTICE INVITING BIDS
PARKING STRUCTURE COUNTING SYSTEM
Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday April 9, 2015, for PARKING STRUCTURE COUNTING SYSTEM which consists of installing a parking counting system at the City Parking Structure located at the intersection of 13th Street and Hermosa Avenue, with all relevant in-pavement loop detectors at parking entry, two “Open/Full” signs with space availability on each directions of Hermosa Avenue, and all necessary trenching and appurtenances.
All bids must be submitted in writing, on standard forms available in the Public Works Department, at the above address. All bids must be sealed and must be plainly marked in the lower left-hand corner “PARKING STRUCTURE COUNTING SYSTEM”.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective bids received. The award, if made, will be granted to the lowest responsible bidder.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at Hermosa Beach City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, California.
