Endless Session, Day 403: Surfing through Sunrise
The man floating next to me, Moe, said “Turn around.” I knew what was behind me, as I had been locked in a trance all morning, even missing waves here and there to stare into the horizon. It’s a kind of beauty that brings the world to a halt. “How can we be so lucky?” he asked.

Getting to Malibu at 5:30 a.m. seems a little ridiculous. 4 a.m. wake up and hit the road before 5 with a gallon of coffee to keep you company. But then you witness the wonders of the universe and you can’t stop. A picture or video will never do it justice. You have to see it for yourself.
