CELEBRATE WELLNESS IN THE GARDEN

Join Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach as they celebrate more than 30 years of providing free support programs for those affected by cancer. The 22nd annual Celebrate Wellness food and beverage tasting event, hosted and sponsored by the South Coast Botanic Garden, will be held at 26300 Crenshaw Boulevard, Palos Verdes Peninsula, on Sunday, June 24 from 3 to 7 p.m.

“We continue to listen and respond to the needs of the community, and are proud to say that we now offer more than 200 programs per month for cancer patients and their loved ones” said CSCRB Executive Director/CEO Paula Moore. “The funds raised at Celebrate Wellness help us provide these valuable support programs at no charge whatsoever to the participant.”

Reserve your seat at this extraordinary garden party celebration that will amaze and delight food and wine enthusiasts or anyone who appreciates an opportunity for a great culinary experience. Leisurely stroll through the garden on a summer afternoon, while sampling delectable cuisine and beverages from some of the finest South Bay restaurants, wineries and breweries.

Mingle with old friends and new, and bid on the many valuable live and silent auction items offered at the event. Choose among a variety of fabulous trips, health and beauty, entertainment and sports items, and much more. Highlights include a six-course chef’s dinner for 10 from The Strand House with wine pairing, presented in their wine cellar, two hours of flight time for 7 passengers on a Net Jets Cessna XLS/Excel, and an exciting ride on the new Goodyear Blimp.

Tickets are $150 per person (guests must be 21 and older), and can be purchased online by visiting www.CelebrateWellness.org  or by calling 310-376-3550. Proceeds will benefit the programs offered by CSCRB.
