Hermosa Beach Mayor Detoy plans Hermosa Beach Greenbelt ADA path demonstration

Hermosa Beach Mayor Mike Detoy will hold his monthly “conversation and clean-up” meeting with residents this Saturday, April 2, starting at 9 a.m. at the Valley Drive access to the Greenbelt. Detoy and Public Works Director Joe SanClemente plan to address compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

City officials have expressed interest in making the Greenbelt more accessible to those with disabilities ,and are considering a variety of options to achieve that. A temporary installation of mats providing short-term accessibility for wheelchairs will be displayed. ER
