 PUBLIC NOTICE

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, to consider the following:

 

  1. Review and Reconsideration of Planning Commission Resolution 13-24 Approving a Conditional Use Permit 13-2, Precise Development Plan 13-13 and Tentative Parcel Map No. 72362 for a 2-unit Condominium, and Determination that the Project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, at 705 1st Place         (Community Development Department, Tel: 310-318-0242, or Email: yting@hermosabch.org)

 

  1. Review and Reconsideration of Planning Commission Resolution 13-26 to Deny a Request to Amend a Conditional Use Permit by modifying the late night hours of an existing restaurant with on-sale general alcohol that closes at 12:00 midnight daily and with live entertainment that ceases daily at 11:30 p.m. (previously “Café Boogaloo”), to close at 1:00 a.m. on the day following Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights and holidays, and to cease live entertainment at 12:30 a.m. the day following Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and holidays, for a new business, and determination that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, at 1238 Hermosa Avenue (Community Development Department, Tel: 310-318-0242, or Email: yting@hermosabch.org)

SAID PUBLIC HEARING shall be held at 7:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA90254.

ANY AND ALL PERSONS interested are invited to participate and speak at this hearing at the above time and place.  For inclusion in the agenda packet to be distributed, written comments of interested parties should be submitted to the department(s) listed with the item, in care of City Hall at 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA90254 prior to Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at 12:00 noon.  All written testimony by any interested party will be accepted prior to or at the scheduled time on the agenda for the matter.

IF YOU CHALLENGE the above matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the above-listed department(s) prior to or at the public hearing.
