Hermosa Beach celebrated its 5th Annual Pride Parade and Pride Tower photo on Saturday, June 14, as part of Pride Month. The group photo began five years ago with the painting of the 14th Street lifeguard tower in the colors of the Pride flag. The weekend of Pride events was organized by Pride Hermosa.

Why is OK for gays to vandalize a Life Guard Tower when a kid tagging it is a crime? It is so ugly and spoils a day at the beach for most non gay beach goers. Could we please have it painted back the blue color which is keeping with the beach.
