People who buy Christmas trees from the Hermosa Kiwanis’ popular lot at the corner of Pier Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway can be assured their fragrant limbs have been blessed, by Rev. Mike Olsen of St. Cross Episcopal Church by the Sea during a ceremony last week.
The 23-year-old lot is open weekdays 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Visitors can choose from more than 2,000 premium Noble and Douglas firs, fragrant rosemary and live trees, colorful wreaths, garlands and door swags.
