Hosts Derby Day at the Races
Members of Las Profesionales Auxiliary of the Assistance League® of San Pedro-South Bay hosted their annual Day at the Races fundraiser. More than 160 members and guests gathered to a delicious buffet lunch, silent and Chinese auctions and a wonderful jewelry sale along with an exciting afternoon of horse racing. Proceeds from the Day at the Races will be used to fund scholarships for forensic nurses and to provide Assault Survivor Kits® for the benefit of adults and children who have been victims of sexual assault.
