Mahomes’ Allegiance To Chiefs Can Seal Another Super Bowl MVP Supremacy

The Kansas City Chiefs are punching another ticket to the Super Bowl finals this weekend. Last year, they won against the San Francisco 49ers clinching their first championship title they haven’t got for decades. Today, they are back in the finals to vie for a back-to-back Lombardi facing the NFC’s conqueror, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As the Chiefs aim for two consistent Super Bowl wins, the players are also working hard to earn the Most Valuable Player Award. Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs quarterback, is undeniably the new face of the NFL today. He presently owns the  MVP award and looks to aim for the same award twice in a row when the Super Bowl LV takes place this February 7, 2021.

While other players might deserve the award, Mahomes carries the most exemplary and impressive resume since he joined the Chiefs in 2017. Will the Chiefs continue to hold their heads high and soar high in Fanduel blog betting games for Mahomes to win another MVP recognition?

Mahomes, A Star In The Making

Kansas City Chiefs are rare Super Bowl champs and haven’t suffered any major loss. When the 20th century came in, the Chiefs consistently appeared in the playoffs.  In 2017, Patrick Mahomes was drafted by the team from Texas Tech to be the quarterback. He started showing up his skills during his rookie years and won as an Offensive Player of the Year.

Last year, Mahomes debuted at the Super Bowl LIV championship, where he performed excellently to win over the Niners. Today, he was the key to why the Chiefs ended on top at the AFC, making another ride to the Super Bowl LV finale. With so much hard work, perseverance, and leadership, Mahomes is a star in the making.

Reliable Troops

The NFL community is keeping an eye on Patrick Mahomes, who is a possible back-to-back winner of the MVP prize. His performance in recent years was undoubtedly left unmatched, making him the best NFL player this generation. However, his skills would not get honed without the help of his teammates.

Mecole Hardman, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce are also the people behind the Chiefs’ success. They also worked hard in every game, establishing a great connection with Mahomes. It is why this quarterback had been recording statistics like a pro because he got reliable troops to count on. If they all work efficiently in the Super Bowl LV finals, an MVP award is waiting for Patrick Mahomes.

Getting The Reid Connection

Andy Reid’s era in the Kansas City Chiefs has lifted the team’s morale. There is no other NFL coach you can find on earth with a solid defensive mind than Reid. He joined the team in 2013, and with him on the sidelines, Chiefs’ possibility of winning is high.  Aside from that, Reid’s offensive concept gets copied every year, but this man is constantly changing his game plan at any given time of day.

With Patrick Mahomes working hand in hand with Andy Reid, he is surely not luring away from the MVP award for the second time around. In fact, the Reid-Mahomes tandem is making another NFL dynasty after Brady-Billiechick split in 2019. Mahomes just needs to deliver what Reid is asking him to do so they all can win the day.

Mahomes And Chiefs Earns Constant Primetime

There are only six primetime games given by the NFL every year. Fortunately, the Kansas City Chiefs can max that out, considering they are the best team this season. They have an incredible combination of the most dynamic and best players in the league. Not only that, their games are exciting to watch, given that they are the defending champions.

Because of this, Mahomes odds for winning the MVP prize will surely skyrocket. Football enthusiasts will surely have their backs on him, knowing that his skills are undoubtedly great. Patrick Mahomes has been phenomenal upon entering the NFL and will continue to do so in more years to come.

Bigger Numbers, Healthier Year

Mahomes suffered a kneecap dislocation last season, and his games were only limited to fourteen matches. Despite getting injured, he manages to work well with his team sending them to a victory.

This season, he returned healthier and with bigger numbers. Mahomes immediately showed excellent performance during the opening week to nail the first seed in the AFC. Until then, he comes out stronger than ever to triumph in the postseason earning their flight to the Super Bowl LV finale.

Takeaway

There is no other NFL player today that can show a consistent performance than Patrick Mahomes. Everyone thinks that he was already on his best last season, but he got more aggressive this year. Now that the Kansas City Chiefs are a step away from earning two consecutive Lombardi’s, can Mahomes show the NFL community what it feels like to win another MVP recognition?
