A bicyclist was injured in a collision with a motorist early this evening in Manhattan Beach. The incident occurred at about 5 p.m. as the driver was pulling into a parking spot along Morningside Drive, near Metlox Plaza, and struck the cyclist as he attempted to maneuver around her vehicle. Manhattan Beach police and firefighters responded immediately. The injured man clutched his chest as he was being treated by paramedics and was taken to a local hospital.
