Manhattan Beach continued its centennial celebration on Saturday, July 28 with a photography show of historic photos from the collection of historian Jan Dennis, and contemporary photos by Beach Reporter Photographer Chris Miller and Beach Volleyball Hall of Fame photographer Robi Hutas. The exhibit continues through August 30 at the Manhattan Beach Creative Arts Center, 1560 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Manhattan Beach.

Pat Cunningham shows off his first grade (bottom) and third grade Center School class photos. The first grade photo was taken October 22, 1924. Cunningham moved to Manhattan Beach in 1920. He turned 94 on July 24, making him the city’s oldest resident.
