Manhattan students-of-the month recognized at Veranda’s

Manhattan Beach students Alexis Shump from Mira Costa High School, Jack Allen from Manhattan Beach Middle School and Jessica Arruda from American Martyrs School were recognized at a Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council luncheon last Thursday at Veranda’s restaurant. Shump is the president of the Women’s Chorale at Costa. Allen serves as the editor of his school’s newspaper and Arruda is described by her teachers and peers as optimistic, reliable and a group leader. Photo courtesy of MBCC
