MB Fair, 10K this weekend

The Manhattan Beach 10K returns Saturday for its 45th year, followed by the 50th Anniversary Hometown Fair on Saturday, Oct. 1 and Sunday. The 10K begins at 7:30 a.m. Over 3,500 runners will follow a course that starts on the Greenbelt and finishes along The Strand, at the Manhattan Beach pier. 

The Hometown Faire offers arts and crafts, live music, beer and wine gardens, food and a petting zoo. Free shuttle service will be available at the Northrop Grumman parking lot, buildings O4 and M5, west of Aviation Boulevard between Marine and 33rd Street. The shuttle will run from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day. For more information about the fair, go to mbfair.org. For more about the MB 10K, go to MB10K.com.
