Very wrong side
According to MBPD reports, on July 9, officers attempted to stop a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road. The driver fled from officers. A pursuit ensued but was then abandoned due to excessive speeds. Officers later observed a traffic collision. One of the vehicles involved was the pursuit suspect. The suspect was arrested without further incident.
Crime trends
According to MBPD crime statistics, last week five large retail chains were targeted for Organized Retail Theft. Two of the five retail chains were targeted twice. Also, five e-bikes were reported stolen last week. Three of these were locked and secured at the time of the thefts.
