After four days of tournament play, the Southern California Volleyball Club (SCVC) 14 Roxy Girls defeated Arizona East Valley Juniors in a thrilling double-final, 30-28, 17-25, 25-12 and 27-25 in a one-set final to win The Volleyball Festival in Phoenix, AZ. Photo courtesy of Mary Boice Baseball: South Bay Surf Baseball will be holding four 5-day camps featuring members of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Each session includes stations that teach baseball fundamentals, daily games, individual coaching on batting and pitching mechanics, weekly contests, prizes and player evaluations along with visits from Angel players such as Peter Bourjos, Mike Trout, Mark Trumbo and Bobby Wilson. They will speak, sign autographs and take pictures with the campers.
