The Mira Costa girls water polo moved a game closer to repeating as Bay League champions by defeating Palos Verdes 16-8 last week. This week the team will compete in the So Cal Championships in Irvine. Next week the Mustangs will face rival Redondo Union in the final league game for the team’s 15 seniors, including captains Leigh Lyter and Celeste Almendariz.
