Mira Costa’s drama takes top honors at Fullerton College festival

Mira Costa High School’s drama department took top honors at Fullerton College’s High School Theatre Festival last weekend, winning the Sweepstakes Award for Best School based on overall points.

Approximately 65 schools and 2,000 students participated in this year’s festival.

Mira Costa also took first place in musical theater for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and second place in musical theater for Anything Goes. Mira Costa’s Theater Tech teams won four medals in Tech Olympics, with 75 other teams competing. For a complete list of winners, visit miracostadramaboosters.org.
