Sharefest seeks volunteers for May 4 Community Working Day

On May 4, throughout the South Bay Sharefest’s 16th Annual Community Workday will bring over 2,500 volunteers to use their force for good as they work to complete over 250 project activities in one day.

“It’s amazing to see Community Workday come together for the 16th year. I’m always blown away by the support of our amazing sponsors and volunteers, we truly couldn’t do this without them” says Chad Mayer, Executive Director of Sharefest. “The projects completed on May the 4th will bring hope, create tangible change and further cement our relationships with civic and school leaders.”

Volunteers are still needed for projects throughout the South Bay, including at RBPD’s K9 Training Facility, the Anderson Park Scout House, a butterfly and vegetable box at Patricia Dreizler School, and garden beautification at Lincoln Elementary School.
