City Clerk Eleanor Manzano is in City Hall, announcing final results of the May 14 run-off election.
Candidate Steve Aspel was, as of last Tuesday’s count, winning by a margin of 148 votes. Now the city is announcing numbers from verified provisional ballots, of which 613 remained to be counted.
Tomorrow the Redondo Beach City Council will formalize the outcome of the mayoral race.
