Fast, head high surf at the March 29 All Star Qualifier in at the Hermosa Pier offered plenty of opportunities for South Bay High School Surf League competitors to show why they deserved to compete in the Hennessey Cup competition on Saturday, April 9. It will also be held at the Hermosa Pier. The Surfer’s Walk of Fame induction will follow at 11 a.m. The Spyder Surf Fest will round out the day.
