Goats and yoga

Hit the G.Y.M. this New Year – goats, yoga and mimosas! Take part in this fitness craze and practice your flow in the presence of live goats followed by mimosas and a relaxing tram tour of the South Coast Botanic Garden. Bring your mat, camera and good humor for an outdoor yoga practice you won’t forget, held in a fenced-in area with four furry farm companions. Your purchase for goat yoga includes a 60-minute yoga session followed by two mimosas (or juice), plus bottled water, a 30 minute tram tour and admission to the Garden all day. 3 Sisters hike

Explore a less used part of the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve with the Sierra Club. Hike the Alta Vicente Reserve, then follow the California Coastal Trail to a steep trial in the 3 Sisters Reserve leading to a high point with wonderful ocean views. Moderate pace, 6 miles, 1000 ft gain. Not appropriate for beginners or casual walkers. Minor must be accompanied by a parent.
