Spotlight on Children: Breakfast at Tiffany’s Themed Evening

Las Madrecitas were “Holly Golightly”

Las Madrecitas and Las Ninas hosted their annual Mother/Daughter tea and fundraising event to benefit the Luskin Orthopedic Institute for Children on May 19. This year’s theme was “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” Guests dressed in their favorite Audrey Hepburn style while enjoying a buffet lunch prepared by the Palos Verdes Golf Club kitchen team. The event also featured a special shopping hall offering nine specialty booths created by the students of Las Ninas as an entrepreneurial experience with all proceeds benefiting the Luskin OIC. Fundraising raffle items included several jewelry pieces from Tiffany’s of Beverly Hills. Additional shopping was available with area retail vendors Cason Couture and Agapantha Jewelry. Guests enjoyed a festive photo booth by Photo Booth Party LA. The Las Ninas charity offers students leadership opportunities, philanthropic goals and access to learn about medicine in a real hospital setting.
