Spotlight on the hill – Jazz at Sunset

Katrina Vanderlip and her husband Edward Perlberg hosted an intimate fundraiser in their living room at the historic Villa Narcissa to benefit The Vanderlip Heritage Fund. Windy Barnes Farrell who has sung on stage with Stevie Wonder and Julio Iglesias, performed tunes from the ‘30s and 40s, including “My Funny Valentine” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” accompanied by Rob Klopfenstein at the piano. The setting sun outside painted the sky orange and pink while hot tea and red wine flowed.  Among the appreciative guests were Dewey Bunnell, British-American musician, singer, guitarist and songwriter from the folk rock band America. The Vanderlip Heritage Fund raises monies to maintain and preserve the Villa, a Palos Verdes treasure. Visit www.villanarcissa.com to learn more.
