Winner Route LSP
The Auxiliary of the Little Sisters of the Poor hosted their 15th annual event June 23rd at the Toyota USA Automobile Museum in Torrance. The theme of Winner Route LSP was combined with the Route 66 symbol to build upon the backdrop of the auto museum. Bishop Joseph Sartoris was honored during the evening for his long time friendship and support for the Little Sisters of the Poor. The Little Sisters operate a home for a 100 aged in San Pedro. They accept only the poor of any ethnic or religious background and care for them until their death. The Auxiliary membership is composed of over 200 outstanding women from the South Bay and Long Beach areas. They meet three times a year in the months of January, April and October. New members are welcome. For membership and event information call 310-548-0625.
