Providence Little Company of Mary’s Women’s Wellness Conference – The Power of Pink presented by Honda will be held at the Torrance Marriott benefiting Providence LCM women’s health programs. Emmy Award-winning actress, author, and women’s health advocate, Vicki Lawrence is the keynote speaker. This popular day promotes the health and well-being of a woman’s body, mind and spirit. Women can look forward to distinguished speakers, boutique shopping and a gourmet luncheon. Returning as conference co-chairs are foundation trustees Cathy Alessandra, Linda Wenglikowski and Shelley Joyce, RN. In celebration of the conference’s 10th anniversary, the first Women’s Wellness Conference keynoter Sarah Ban Breathnach returns as opening speaker. Ban Breathnach is the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling book, Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy. She recently released Peace and Plenty, a personal money memoir. The 2011 Mary Potter Humanitarian Award will be presented to long-time volunteer and generous philanthropist, Virginia Schneider. Conference fee is $175; $1750 for a table of ten. Registration begins at 8 a.m.; closing is at 2 p.m. with a fabulous opportunity drawing for an Acura MDX generously donated by American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Opportunities are $25 each or five for $100.
