NEWS FLASH! Many bars are opening at 9 a.m. You will go there because:

C) Because you can.
Super Bowl 46
1 . Sangriaβ€”Something for boys and girls. Fashion show by Anthology. β€œYou can order off the models.” I’m not quite sure what this means, but I am sure it’s not what you’re thinking. Dessert bar, drinks. $25 to benefit The Switzer Learning Center. RSVP online.

2. On the Rocksβ€”Redondo Beach hang out is hosting its 6th annual VIP party. For $75/$140 couple, you can drink pretty much whatever you want, snacks, prizes, promo girls, reserved area.

3. Sharkeezβ€”Open bar? $20?! Incredulous! That’s what she said. In regular, ostentatious Sharkeez style, they are giving away over $5,000 in cash and prizes. Is it Christmas?

4. Undergroundβ€”Regular Football Happy Hour which includes $9 Domestic Beer pitchers and shot specials which are -$1 or -$2 off regular price. Lots of room. But this place gets packed because it’s happening!

5. Patrick Molloy’sβ€”Start with breakfast at 9 a.m. and stay for the game specials like
Beer Buckets $12 Domestic/$16 Import, $6 Pitchers of Bloody Marys & Screwdrivers. Contests and prizes as well.

Fat Face Fenner’s Fishack (FFFF)β€”a Boston barβ€”will be packed with nervous/gloating Patriots fans. Mass-holes is the term. Regular specials like $3 Bloody Marys, $3 Mimosas, $3 Domestic beers, and $4 Sam Adams available.

Note: Hot’s Kitchen will be closed for a private party. What a great idea! Sounds like I need to make some new friends, stat!
