Gelson’s one year anniversary

Celebrating Gelson’s one year anniversary in Manhattan Beach on Saturday are Gelson’s Jeff Stein and Dennis Sullivan, Chamber CEO Kelly Strowman, Manhattan Ed Foundation executive director Hilary Mahan and Manhattan council members Nancy Hersman and Richard Montgomery. Guests were offered samples of Gelson’s holiday dinners. On Nov. 22, Gelson’s customers who buy a turkey and donate it to the Covenant House homeless shelter will receive a certificates redeemable for two tickets to an upcoming Kings game at Staples Center. Brews Hall opens in Del Amo

Celebrating the opening of The Brews Hall at Del Amo Fashion Center last week are comedian George Lopez, sports broadcaster Colin Cowherd, Michael Zislis and Torrance Mayor Pat Furey. The Brews Hall includes the George Lopez Brewing Co., Lopez’s Chingon Kitchen, Colin Cowherd’s Herd Burger, Chicken T.W.I.L.I. (the way I like it) and Zislis‘ Rock’ n Fish. The Brews Hall is located at 21770 Del Amo Cir E, Torrance.
