South Torrance High School drummer Nicholas Ezpelata, the school’s band snare captain, has been chosen to perform in the 127th Rose Parade in Pasadena on New Year’s Day. Ezpelata will march as the solo drummer with the Pasadena City College Herald Trumpets. Ezpelata was also the band’s drummer in last year’s Rose Parade.
