On Father’s Day, Belah Ellis, a member of the Beach Cities Swim Team in Redondo Beach, competed in the 22 mile Rock 2 Rock paddleboard race, alongside her father Rodney. Ellis is believed to be the youngest paddler to have completed a channel crossing solo.
