UCLA Health Pediatric Center physician in chief Sherin Devaskar MD, manager, Ardy Haghighat, Joe Avila, of UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and executive director Dr. Mark Grossman cut the ribbon for their new location at 1000 N. Sepulveda Blvd., in Manhattan Beach last Wednesday. The new clinic has 14 medical rooms for physicians to conduct exams, provide vaccinations, and treat childhood injuries and illnesses. Joining in the ribbon cutting were (at left) new Manhattan Beach Fire Chief Daryl Drum, Councilman Richard Montgomery, City Manager Bruce Moe, Mayor Nancy Hersman, Councilman Steve Napolitano, State Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi, and (at right) Chamber Communications Director Carolina Dorado, Manhattan Councilwoman Suzanne Hadley and (not in order) UCLA Health physicians Dr. Jennifer Balucan, Dr. Gregory Dann, Dr. Negar Ghafouri, Dr. Chiaki Jutabha, Dr. Casey Sherman, and Dr. Daisy Vinzon.
