Home Damaged
A suspect was arrested last Saturday on suspicion of vandalism after entering a Hermosa home and damaging property.
The suspect broke a window and a patio barbecue, police said. Officers arrived on the scene, and the suspected resisted arrest, kicking a police car by while being placed in the vehicle.
The suspect was arrested and booked on suspicion of vandalism.
Surfing Theft
Three suspects stole a GoPro and a cell phone from a surfer out for a session last Monday.
The surfer was in the water near the Longfellow Lifeguard tower when he saw three men approach a bag containing his things. By the time the victim got out of the water, the men and the items were gone.
