Political Vandalism
An unknown artist became the latest to weigh in on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump week with a graffito on a South Hermosa park.
The words “Trump is the Antichrist” were found spraypainted in white lettering about 8 a.m. March 17 on the door of the former Prospect Heights School, now known as Fort Lots-o-Fun. Called to the area, police found several other examples of graffiti nearby. “Get out yuppie scum” and “Locals only” had been spraypainted, also in white, on the north-facing wall of the basketball courts at Rodaway Park two blocks to the south. And later that day, police found the letters “SS” spraypainted in white on the door of a car parked in the 600 block of Hollowell, about two blocks east of the Trump site.
