Yoga on the Pier

On Sunday, March 11, the 44th Annual Festival of the Kite will take place. Previous years have included special prizes for kite-flyers in multiple categories, live music, a hot dog eating contest with cash prize and more. The event is free and open to the public.
The monthly Yoga on the Pier practice returns to the Pier Octagon on Saturday, March 10, near the Redondo Fun Factory. Participants just need to bring a yoga mat, towel and water to the Octagon at the Redondo Pier. All levels are welcome. Yoga on the Pier takes place on the second Saturday of each month.
South Bay Galleria hearing pushed back
Redondo Beach Planning Commission hearings for the South Bay Galleria redevelopment project have been pushed back by one month, to April 19, in accordance with a request from Galleria owners. The hearing was previously scheduled for March 15.
