La Venta Inn is known for iconic events, among them Fourth of July fireworks. With its breathtaking views of the Queen’s Necklace, fireworks could be seen bursting throughout the LA Basin. Family-friendly activities included Bingo, sunglass decorating, and outdoor games. Made by Meg Catering, offered a salad bar, hamburgers, a vegetarian burger bar, a french fries bar that included sweet potato fries, salt, and various toppings including freshly made bacon bits and specialty cheeses. The sundae bar was a big hit. Beer and wine contributed to the camaraderie, laughs, and the opportunity to make new neighborhood friends
