A motorcyclist died Thursday morning, September 12, after colliding with a commercial box truck at approximately 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and 21st Street in Hermosa Beach. The identification of the motorcyclist has not been released.
Pacific Coast Highway, between 21st Street, on the south, and Artesia Boulevard on the north was closed in both directions until about 10:30 a.m., Hermosa Beach Police Watch Commander Sgt. Brent Zuber said Thursday morning.
Police and Community Service Officers directed Pacific Coast Highway traffic to Prospect Avenue on the east and Ardmore Drive on the west. ER
