Local runners claim Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10K

David Delatorre, 23, of Rancho Palos Verdes, won the 47th annual Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce Super Bowl 10K, Feb. 9, with a time of 32:43, followed by Finn Babbitt, 17, of El Segundo, in 32:36. Michael Nakahara, 30, of Torrance, took third at 32:53.

For women, Abby Hong, 28, of Manhattan Beach finished first in 35:47, followed by Claire Hollison, 34, of Pittsburgh, Penn., at 36:29, and Elizabeth Scott, Redondo Beach, 33, finishing at 40:00.

For the 5K, Henry Falotico, 31, of Claremont, crossed the finish line first in a time of 16:38. Alex Heuchert, 29, of Redondo Beach, took second at 16:42 and Kobe Mashburn-Gillian, 15, of Palos Verdes Peninsula, came in third (16:54). 

Top female finishers in the 5K were Margaux Curcura, 32, Los Angeles, in 17:50; Nicole Greyer, 24, of Santa Monica, 18:11, and Mallory Weddle, 40, of North Hollywood, 20:00. ER
