A 71-year-old Long Beach man died today after going into cardiac arrest and colliding with a Best Western Sunrise Inn sign at 400 N. Harbor Drive in Redondo Beach. Paramedics and police officers were dispatched to the scene at 10:40 a.m., where they found the man unconscious in his Dodge truck, a press release by the Redondo Police Department stated.
