A Kiss for El Segundo… And yes, it is just a coincidence that I have lots of El Segundo news in this column, but lots is happening there. I’ve noted in previous columns that Rock & Brews is reopening soon, but hadn’t mentioned the name of one of the partners – a fellow named Gene Simmons, who used to be in a band. Yes, that Gene Simmons and that band. If you have never seen him out of his Kiss make-up, you might want to visit that restaurant soon after it reopens. I say soon because according to their press release, Simmons, Mike Zislis, and Dave Furano plan to take the concept “worldwide.” The opening is scheduled for April 3rd, and tickets are for sale on their website at rockandbrews.com.
