Norris Act II
Fashion Show
Act II, a support group of the Norris Center for the Performing Arts, presented its annual fashion show and luncheon, “Spring into Spring” This past May at the Harlyne J. Norris Pavilion. This year, the show featured legendary and historic fashions from the past, present and future provided by The Costume Closet, a project of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Council of PTAs, that has provided theatrical and party costuming, as well as vintage, elegant, and even madcap attire for special events for over 20 years. All of the costumes were modeled by Act II members. All proceeds benefit the Norris. Since Act II was founded 28 years ago, the group has raised over $450,000 through their annual Community Variety Show and Spring Fashion Show. The members meet monthly to plan the events and to enjoy numerous theatre-related programs.
