South Bay Surf Series
The fourth stop of the annual South Bay Surf Series takes place Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 26th Street in Manhattan Beach. Becker Surfboards, one of the original surfboard builders and surf shops in the South Bay, will be the main sponsor of the event. The South Bay Surf Series, which kicked off last December at the Hermosa Beach pier, is a six-event series of contests for the South Bay community featuring all age groups. The day on the beach will include board demos, raffles, food, drinks and an assortment of beach activities open to all attendees.

The second meeting takes place April 11, and the final meeting is on May 2. For more information, contact Sona Kalapura, environmental programs manager, at skalapura@citymb.info or 310-802-5341.
