South Bay Arts Calendar August 23 to 30

“Personal Tales,” narrative work by such artists as Terry Braunstein, Stan Edmondson, Jim Morphesis, and Nancy Mozur, opens on Monday in the El Camino College Art Gallery, 16007 Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance. A reception for the artists takes place on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 7 to 9 p.m., and there is an artists’ lecture on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. Closes Sept. 19.
