A local cat enthusiast recently created a very memorable Christmas present for her friends and family. The unnamed woman, who wished to remain anonymous because of catnapping reasons, produced a 12-month calendar featuring her two cats dressed as various actors in monthly scenes – posing them as an Egyption queen, motorcycle rider and even Santa and Mrs. Claws.
After unveiling the work of art, she was asked by friends and family to make the calendar available for purchase and she posted it on Lulu.com for $18.99. Friends aware of the project donated their dogs to the cause to add animal variety to some of the scenes. She also added that the two cats, Presley and Zeppy Lynn, were good sports and after the project was over immediately joined the family for cuddles. The artist said that the slim profits from the project will go towards vet bills for one of her feline’s irritable feline bowl syndrome as well as costumes for future calendars.
