European Wax Center, a national franchise with two locations in the South Bay, takes the cake for best waxing job for a third year. Known for its “Ultimate Wax Experience” using 100 percent natural beeswax from Paris, the Center also offers a full line of waxing products. Cybil Schneider, the Manhattan Beach location’s manager since 2012, says she’s thrilled to leave a lasting impression on their clients. “We have the good fortune of being a busy center,” Schneider says. “It’s really nice to hear that our efforts are being recognized.” Looking ahead, she says European Wax Center plans to get more plugged into the community and return the love with volunteer work. “That’s something we’re entertaining this year.” – EK
