Inspired sculptors
An artists’ talk and walk-through with sculptors Michael Todd, Kristan Marvell, and Nicholette Kominos, in connection with the current “Ties to Modernism” show, takes place at 7:30 p.m. at South Bay Contemporary, at The Loft, 401 S. Dancing up a storm
The Spring Advanced Dance Concert takes place at 1 p.m. in the Campus Theatre at El Camino College, Crenshaw and Redondo Beach boulevards, Torrance. Professor- and guest-choreographed pieces to be performed by the school’s advanced dance students.
