Sandpipers Holiday Homes Tour
The nonprofit is holding its 23rd annual tour of four local homes decorated for the holidays from Dec. 4 through 6. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Proceeds from the tour help fund the organization.
The Sandpipers Holiday Market, which will feature local artisans, restaurants and children’s entertainment, will also be open at the Neptunian Woman’s Club at 920 Highland Avenue in Manhattan Beach from Dec. 4 through 6.

High school winter concert
Mira Costa High School’s Philharmonic, Chamber and Symphony Orchestras will perform their annual Winter Concert on Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at the school’s auditorium at 1401 Artesia Boulevard. This year’s holiday program will feature classical works by Dmitri Shostakovich and Antonín Dvorák, along with a few seasonal pieces, including Tchaikovsky’s Sleigh Ride.
Tickets are $10 for adults, free for students and senior citizens, and can be purchased at the door. ER
